What is the Number of Imported Vehicles in BiH?

Last year, 54,822 vehicles were imported to Bosnia and Herzegovina, of which 47,398 were used and 7,424 new.

According to the data of the Indirect Taxation Authority of BiH, the total value of imported vehicles amounted to 757.62 million BAM, for which 138.17 million BAM in duties were paid. That is significantly less than the pre-pandemic 2019, when 73,991 vehicles with a total value of 888.28 million BAM were imported, plus 166.51 million BAM in duties.

The most expensive vehicle imported in 2021 was a Ferrari F142, which cost 489,457 BAM and for which another 83,260 BAM in taxes was paid. They are followed by two Lamborghinis that were paid 426,664 BAM and 425,993 BAM, and a little more than 72,000 BAM in taxes. Among the ten most expensive vehicles imported to BiH in 2021 are three more Lamborghinis, three Porsches and a Maybach.

The ten most expensive ones were paid a total of 4.26 million BAM. In 2021, 50 electric vehicles and 359 hybrids were imported to BiH.
