“We were ready for this snowfall. The team of winter service maintains roads in four municipal areas of the city and those are: Novi Grad, Novo Sarajevo, Center and Stari Grad. Should be noted that 15 roads in the area of Ilidža municipality were maintained this year. 43 special vehicles are in our disposal, and until now the snow removal is managed. Also, we remove the snow from sidewalks and walking trails”, announced for Klix.ba Ahmed Đipa, Spokesperson of Company Rad.
He added that in the rest of municipalities is not being done any cleaning, as well as in the main roads. Drivers are advised to keep the distance and to use the winter equipments.
The snow started falling last night throughout B&H. On Bjelašnica the level of the snow was 37 centimeters. The level of the snow in Bihać was 34 centimeters. 13 centimeters in Srebrenica, 11 centimeters in Han Pijesak and Ivan Sedlo. The level of the snow in Sarajevo is 4 centimeters, announced FB&H Hydro-Meteorological Institute.
