Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated on Friday that Russia is massing forces of about 100.000 soldiers near the eastern Ukrainian stronghold of Pokrovsk, which Russia considers its territory.
“There the enemy is massing and concentrating. Up to 100.000 people, that is what we have as of this morning. In any case, they are preparing offensive actions,“ said Zelenskyy.
He added that Ukrainian forces are pushing back pockets of Russian troops from the northeastern border region of Sumy.
