The Zenica miners paid close to 11.500 BAM to help victims of earthquakes in Syria and Turkey.
Despite the numerous problems they faced in the past period due to unpaid wages and paid meals, many of them not having money for their children, the miners once again showed solidarity with those who lost everything they had.
After their problems were solved, receiving their salaries and paid meals and help in the amount of 100 BAM from mayor Fuad Kasumovic, the Zenica miners paid 11.425 BAM in the name of helping the victims.
“The Chambers of Zenica Brown Coal Mine are informed that the aid to the people of Syria and Turkey has been paid. Thank you to everyone who participated and responded to this humanitarian and noble action,” reads the announcement signed by the Independent Union of Zenica Brown Coal Mine.
