Although at the third grade of studies in the field of interior design, Zerina already has significant successes. Her work was chosen for the official graphic of the International Film Festival Through Women’s Eye, at which she spoke in front of 125 persons on the occasion of the International Women Day.
Islamovic attended two years of the High school of civil engineering and Geodesy in Tuzla, after which she decided to move to the united World College in Mostar. She got a scholarship and spend the next two years in that city on Neretva where she met colleagues from Ringling College and started to dream to study there one day.
During her high school education, she participated in numerous projects, domestic and international ones, including CAMPUS 15 that helps to youth and children without parents.
After graduating at UWC in 2012, she applied for the scholarship Shelby Davis, and due to her current experience she stood out among other applicants, what brought her the full scholarship for Ringling College.
“It was a truly dream came true. I applied to ten colleges, and five of them accepted me. However, I wanted Ringling“, said Zerina.
After she graduate, her intention is to continue her education at the Masters studies in Germany.
