Croatian Member of the European Parliament (MEP) and Vice-President of the European People’s Party (EPP) Zeljana Zovko reacted to the statement of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) Elmedin Konakovic, who earlier said that she “uses the vocabulary of Milorad Dodik.”
“Konakovic cannot get away from his adventure by which he set BiH back. History will remember him only as ‘the guy who showed promise’… and then… nothing,” Zovko said in a short statement.
It should be recalled that the verbal clash between Zovko and Konakovic followed after her address at the session of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the European Parliament in Brussels, where she sharply criticized Konakovic’s actions, accusing him of undermining the constitutional order of BiH.
She also called on the European Union (EU) Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos, to urgently visit BiH and directly get acquainted with the situation in the country.
