57cd5d86-4578-4ac6-9ca5-1ecc0a0a0a64-zvizdic-718x446Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Denis Zvizdic said that yesterday’s session of the Fiscal Council of BiH and the Collegium of European integration was very constructive and successful.

He said that the amendments to the Law on excise duties were discussed during the break between sessions and that all institutions are committed to implementation of the necessary measures in order for the deal with the IMF not to be in danger, since that arrangement is connected with the World Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

Zvizdic specified that they adopted the report on the budget execution of the Fiscal Council, as well as the budget for 2017, and that the Collegium adopted instructions for the formation of 13 ministerial conferences with which will be covered all areas related to the European path of BiH and agreed on appointment of thematic work groups that will unite answers of all institution on the questions from the Questionnaire of the EC.

Prime Minister of FBiH Fadil Novalic explained that representatives of the entity governments reached the agreement on the support of the amendments to the law on excise duties in the sphere of oil and petroleum products, which includes biodiesel, bioliquids and heating oil.

He added that the process was started with this, including the agreement to work on the more balanced approach to the allocation of spending in the future period and to make alignment on the basis of VAT between the entity governments.

Novalic also called on other institutions to take part in the process, such as the Indirect Taxation Authority, the Council of Ministers of BiH and the Parliamentary Assembly, to do everything in order for this measure to be implemented as soon as possible because the deadline is on the 24th of March.

Prime Minister of the RS Zeljka Cvijanovic said that now are obtained assumptions that everything that institutions were working on their individual levels will be unified in an appropriate way and timely forwarded to the European Commission.

She explained that there is still some time to fulfill all measures until the deadline that was set by the IMF, but that she believes that they will all finish everything on time.
