Ajdin Osmanovic from Srebrenik is dubbed as a child prodigy. This 12-year-old already has solo concerts, and numerous performances in the country, but also abroad. Thanks to him, in May of this year, the flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) will be shown among the 13 countries in the world in Germany.
The exceptionally talented Ajdin Osmanovic from Srebrenik is a finalist of the festival that will be held in Germany this year.
“My teacher and I are preparing for this festival. This festival is worldwide and will be held in Germany, and I’m glad to have the opportunity to represent BiH,” says young Ajdin Osmanovic.
“The applications are online. I sent recordings of Ajdin, and within three to four days, we received a response that Ajdin was selected as the third among 13 countries in the world,” says Jasmin Brasnjic, a music teacher.
In addition to regular school, Ajdin attends the Music School at the First Elementary School in Srebrenik, excels in his studies, speaks English, and takes German language classes.
“I always loved music and listening to it, mostly Sevdalinkas, and then in the sixth grade, I started singing,” Ajdin added.
His teacher says a boy like him is born once every hundred days. After representing his homeland in Germany, he will also have two concerts in Macedonia, where he was especially welcomed.
“They gave him the nickname “Biserni Glas” (Pearl Voice), which is a very big deal in the Macedonian community because the late Tose Proeski had such a nickname,” Brasnjic stated.
After performing in Buzim, he will also participate in a charity concert for sick children in Novi Sad on April 27th. Ajdin has drawn attention to himself with his incredible singing talent. Although he excels in most musical genres, his favorite is Sevdalinka.
