1.5 Million BAM secured for Reconstruction of Pools in Sarajevo

The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina supported the project of the Sarajevo municipality Stari Grad – the reconstruction of the swimming pools at Bentbaša, for which BAM 1.5 million will be allocated from this year’s budget.

This project received unanimous support as extremely important not only for the development of the local community but also for the entire Sarajevo Canton and beyond.

The swimming pools at Bentbaša have not been in operation since 2009 and are currently just a neglected and devastated space for which it was previously not possible to find a common solution to bring them to operation.

The conceptual solution for the new swimming pools at Bentbaša includes open and closed pools, landscaped green areas, lounge and relaxation space, and other facilities.
