1.700 Tourists Visited Andrićgrad Yesterday

Andricgrad-Bosna-i-Hercegovina1.700 tourists visited Andrićgrad from 15 organized tourist groups, said the Tourist Agency from this city to Srna.

Among the tourists, who were there from 8:00-13:00, there were groups from Montenegro, Macedonia, Serbia, as well as Malaysia, and most of the visitors were from the RS and FBiH.

Tourists expressed delight with what Director Emir Kusturica built in 22 months, and many of them said that they would return again on 28 June, when Andrić Institute, Academy of Fine Arts, hostel and where a roof will be put on the building of the temple-a modified copy of the high Decani.

This temple will be dedicated to the Holy Emperor Lazarus.

It was confirmed that in hotel “Višegrad” there was an increased demand for accommodation, as well as in several motels and inns in the area of this municipality, and also in Drvengrad in Mokra Gora.

A number of tourist groups and school excursions first visited the bridge Mehmed-paše Sokolovića on the Drina, and then on the right side of the bank of this river they went on to Andrićgrad.

A pastry shop was opened yesterday in Andrićgrad, and there is already a café called “Goja”, a bakery and a brewery.
