102 Suicides were registered in Montenegro

From the beginning of the year to October 31, 102 suicides were registered in Montenegro, the Police Administration in Podgorica announced.

The most suicides were in Podgorica – 27, in Nikšić 11, Pljevlja nine, Bijelo Polje and Budva eight each, Herceg Novi five, Kotor four, Danilovgrad, Berane, Andrijevica, Bar, Tivat, Žabljak and Cetinje three each, in Rožaj and Plužine, one each in Tuzi, Mojkovac, Petnjica, Kolašin and Ulcinj.

In 2022, 126 suicides were registered, and in 2021, 124.
