The 105th Rose Roth Seminar of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly ended today in the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PSBiH).
The seminar ended with a discussion on the challenges of climate change and the resilience of the countries of the Western Balkans region to the impact of climate change, and an exchange of experiences on the role of parliaments in managing cyber security.
During the three-day session of the seminar, which was organized by the NATO PS with the support of the Swiss Federal Ministry of Defense, Civil Protection and Security Policy and the Geneva Center for Security Sector Management, more than 100 parliamentarians from NATO member states, partner countries from the region, and representatives of international military and civilian organizations, experts and representatives of the civil sector discussed, in several sessions and panels, the political and security situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region of the Western Balkans in the context of the European and Euro-Atlantic integration of our country.
In his final address to the participants of the Rose Roth seminar, the chairman of the House of Peoples of the PSBiH and the chairman of the Delegation of the PSBiH to PSNATO, Kemal Ademović, thanked all the participants of the seminar for the sincere and open discussions, and expressed his belief that Bosnia and Herzegovina will soon become a member of the NATO alliance, which will , as he emphasized, to make the country more stable and safer for all its citizens, announced the Public Relations Department of the PSBiH.
