In Bosnia and Herzegovina, 107,299 accounts of business entities were blocked in May, which is 348 more than at the end of the previous month, the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced.
To date, 58,680 companies have had at least one account blocked, which is 204 more than at the end of the previous month.
The monthly report on blocked accounts lists legal entities from various fields – municipalities, businesses, cooperatives, sports and health organizations, agencies, associations, and entities engaged in service activities.
As of the end of April, 106,951 accounts of business entities were blocked, while 58,476 companies had at least one account blocked.
In the first report of the Central Bank published in early November 2012, the number of blocked accounts of business entities in BiH was 58,038, while 35,694 companies had at least one blocked bank account.
