The Kosovo Assembly was not constituted today, even after the 25th attempt, because out of the 104 MPs present, 51 MPs voted in favor of forming an electoral commission to elect the Speaker of the Parliament, while one was against.
During today’s continuation of the session, representatives of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, the Democratic League of Kosovo, the Serbian List and the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo – NISMA coalition did not submit proposals for members of the electoral commission.
Their MPs also did not participate in the vote.
Speaker Avni Dehari announced that the session would be continued on June 4 due to the lack of a quorum.
