At least 12 Thais, mostly civilians, have been killed in clashes between Thai and Cambodian troops in a disputed border area.
Cambodia has been accused of shelling a Thai village and attacking a hospital, while Thailand has carried out airstrikes on Cambodian military targets.
Thailand has closed its entire border with Cambodia after telling all its citizens to leave, while Cambodia has cut ties with Bangkok, which it accuses of using “excessive force”.
The fighting marks an escalation in a long-running dispute.
