PM Novalic met with Ambassador of the USA to BiH

Maureen CormackThe prime minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) Fadil Novalic met at the headquarters of the Federal government in Sarajevo with the US Ambassador to BiH Maureen Cormack.

One of the topics of today’s meeting was the implementation of the tasks undertaken by the reform agenda. Interlocutors agreed that the reforms have no alternative and must be implemented in every segment and by the very end.

Moreover, they discussed about the modalities for the re-inclusion of questions of increasing excise duties on fuel in the agenda of all the institutions. Excise duties are essential for the continued construction of infrastructure projects, and thus the overall economic progress, was agreed by both sides on the meeting.

For the end of the meeting, Prime Minister Novalic informedAmbassador Cormack that the FBiH Government is taking active moves to attract investment from the United States.
