Synagogues in the United Kingdom (UK) marked the 22nd anniversary of the memory of the victims of the genocide in Srebrenica in July 1995, is reported by the British organization “Remembering Srebrenica”.

The British organization “Remembering Srebrenica” aims to keep the public in the United Kingdom as well as in the rest of the world constantly reminded of the genocide in Srebrenica.

The “Woolf Institute” has published on its social networks that this is a very symbolic gesture of inter-religious solidarity and that it can lead to a shift in mutual understanding.

Oliver Kamm, a columnist for The New York Times, wrote in response to the “Remembering Srebrenica” information that each of the British Jews has responsibilities to fight the dangerous phenomena of denying genocide in Srebrenica.
