The third restaurant of the popular fast food chain McDonald’s in Sarajevo should be completed by the beginning of 2018.

Director of marketing and communications Adi Hadžiarapović said that the construction has not begun yet, as well as that they just obtained the urban permit.

“It is necessary to prepare all other paperwork in order to obtain the construction permit and we hope that will happen early next year, if everything goes as planned,” said Hadžiarapović.

After obtaining the construction permit, it takes three to four months to make the restaurant operational and McDonald’s hope that it will happen in the very beginning of 2018.

The new McDonalds will conceptually be the same as in Nedžarići, it will have the drive-in concept, and it will be opened 24 hours a day. When it comes to interior, final decision has not been made yet.

In addition, the new restaurant will have something that other restaurants do not have and it will be digitalized – it will have a virtual playroom and there will also be the possibility of digital ordering by bank cards, for those who prefer that option.

Hadžiarapović said that around 30 workers will be permanently employed.

The new restaurant will be located on a free lot along the Alipašina Street – on the area between the Energopetrol gas station and the turning towards Zetra; the Centar Municipality stated.
