15 Million BAM allocated for Road Infrastructure in BiH

At the proposal of the Ministry of Communications and Transport, the Council of Ministers of BiH adopted the Decision on the use of transferred funds paid in the name of the granted license for universal mobile telecommunication systems in the year of 2015 in the total amount of 17.602.470,00 BAM.

Out of these funds, a total of 14.962.099,50 BAM or 85 % are directed to financing the preparation and construction of road infrastructure, and 2.640.370,50 KM or 15 % is directed on the development of communication sector.

Moreover, at the proposal of the Ministry of Communications and Transport, the Council of Ministers of BiH adopted the Decision on amendments to the Decision on the use of transferred funds paid in the name of the granted license for universal mobile telecommunication systems.

Therefore, a part of the unused funds on the basis of granted licenses for UMTS that were distributed in accordance with earlier decisions, will be redirected to co-financing of new projects of the construction of road infrastructure in several cities and municipalities in BiH, as announced by the Council of Ministers.
