On the occasion of marking the Day of the Municipality of Centar, the representatives of the Association Old Timer Club Sarajevo held a parade of oldtimers, which was joined by bikers from the area of this local community, Klix.ba news portal reports.

After the parade, the representatives of the association together with the delegation of the Municipality of Centar led by Mayor Nedzad Ajnadzic laid flowers at the site of the Memorial to the Murdered Children of besieged Sarajevo in Veliki Park and paid tribute on the occasion of Remembrance Day.

Mayor Ajnadzic said that we must not forget 1,425 days of siege, 1,601 innocent children killed, 12,000 killed civilians and citizens of Sarajevo, regardless of name, surname, religion and nation.

“The monument to the killed children of besieged Sarajevo in 1992-1995 preserves the memory of 1,601 children who were killed during the siege of Sarajevo. We must not forget that,” Ajnadzic emphasized.
