Based on the requests of FK “Zvijezda 09” Bijeljina and NK “Čelik” Zenica, yesterday and today in the premises of the Fotball Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Sarajevo, meetings of the management of both clubs were held with representatives of the Federation.

The meetings discussed issues related to the status of these clubs in the next competition season. After constructive and open discussions, understanding was expressed for the current situation in our football, as well as all the circumstances that influenced the decision of the Executive Board regarding the impossibility of further play of all competitions organized by the FF BH.

Both clubs expressed their gratitude for the correct attitude, as well as the quality information they received during their stay in the Federation.

FK “Zvijezda 09” pointed out that they managed to bring their positions closer, and that they would send a request to the FF BH Executive Board with a proposal to expand the BHT Premier League for the 2020/21 season.

The management of the teams from Bijeljina and Zenica has the task of how to best resolve the status issues of their clubs in the coming period. The FF BH continues to carry out the identified activities with the aim of better preparation for the upcoming season, which should begin on 01.08.2020.
