After UEFA made decisions on the calendar for its competitions two days ago, the head coach of the “A” national team, Dušan Bajević, held another video meeting with his technical staff today.

In addition to the head coach, assistants Slaven Musa, Rusmir Cviko, Adnan Ćustović and Eldin Jelešković were present, and the tasks for the next period were discussed.

Topics on the agenda related to technical details related to the organization of the Nations League matches and the play-offs. The strategic goals were discussed, especially in the Nations League, and how to use those matches in the best way and with the best possible quality in preparation for the duel with Northern Ireland in the play-offs.

Everyone agrees that the schedule of the competition is very tight, and that a list of potential national team players will have to be formed with special care. Certain criteria must exist in the selection of players, so that the technical staff will have the task in this period to monitor their individual performances as well as the physical condition of all potential national team players .

The focus is on play-off matches; however, the head coach and his associates emphasize that no less important is the competition in the Nations League, i.e. monitoring the national teams with which we are in the group.

“Now that the new match-dates are known, it is easier for us to make concrete plans and set deadlines by which certain obligations should be completed. In any case, my associates and I are enthusiastically waiting for the first gathering”, said head coach Bajević after today’s meeting.
