The Federal Ministry of the Interior, Building and Community of the Federal Republic of Germany donated on Friday a piece of specialist equipment for investigations to the BiH Border Police.

The donation is intended to support the development of the Central Investigation Office of the BiH Border Police, and the value of the donated equipment is almost 250.000 BAM.

The donation was handed over during a meeting between the Head of the Central Investigation Office of Bosnian Border Police Almir Basic with the liaison office of the Federal Police of Germany for Bosnia and Herzegovina Oliver Hass and the newly appointed liaison office of the Federal Police of Germany for BiH Florian Wedekind.

So far, the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany has donated equipment worth almost 9.8 million BAM to Bosnian Border Police in order to operationally strengthen this police agency, and thus increase general security at the borders and airports in BiH.
