The Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia and Herzegovina has compiled a revised list of infrastructure projects in the field of the environment with a total value of 1,464,116,621.94 euros.

The revision process was launched in July last year, and the proposed revised list was confirmed in June 2020, and, on that occasion, Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH Stasa Kosarac said that the process of revising the list of infrastructure projects in the field of the environment was initiated in order to amend certain projects proposed within the programming of IPA II and the Environment Action Document 2020, but also because of the need to nominate new projects, given that the European Commission has expressed its position that it would not support or fund projects that are not on the list.

“We comprised the revised list in cooperation with the competent institutions in the Republika Srpska, the Federation of BiH and the Brcko District. Compared to the first list, which consisted of 67 infrastructure projects, the revised list contains 129 projects, of which 56 projects are in the RS, 68 are in the Federation of BiH, while four projects are in the Brcko District, and one project is in the field of water supply and s important for the entire country,” Minister Kosarac pointed out.
