The Crisis Staff of the Canton Sarajevo Ministry of Health for monitoring and analyzing the situation caused by the new coronavirus warns the citizens of Sarajevo Canton to avoid going to neighboring countries, but also to all those where there has been a significant increase in the number of coronavirus infections recently.

Members of the Crisis Staff called on all persons from Sarajevo Canton who have been in endangered countries in the last 14 days to be especially careful and responsible, to monitor the appearance of possible symptoms, and to reduce all their contacts to a minimum.

In case of symptoms of acute respiratory disease with fever, dry cough, loss of sense of taste and smell, it is necessary to immediately contact the competent health service.

In this regard, the Crisis Staff once again calls on all citizens to responsibly implement all prescribed public health measures, primarily the mandatory wearing of a protective mask, maintaining hand hygiene with warm water and soap, keeping the prescribed distance of at least 1.5 meters, and constant ventilation of the space in which they reside.

The Crisis Staff says that all this is necessary in order for the epidemiological situation in our canton to remain favorable because it is currently such thanks to well-implemented public health measures by citizens.

They also emphasize that the implementation of these measures should continue to persist.
