Deputy Minister of Defense of Bosnia and Herzegovina for Resource Management Mirko Okolic met with the Commander of the NATO Headquarters in Sarajevo, Brigadier General William Edwards, with whom he discussed the current cooperation with the NATO Headquarters in Sarajevo, but also the upcoming cooperation projects.

Okolic also presented some of the vital problems that Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces of BiH are facing, including the inoperability of helicopters of the Armed Forces BiH, which may lead to the impossibility of carrying out the basic mission of assisting the civilian population during accidents and weather disasters. He also emphasized the importance of solving this problem as soon as possible.

General Edwards was interested in the implementation of the “Reform Program”, and expressed a desire for greater communication with the BiH Ministry of Defense in order to achieve even better results.
