The Chief Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Gordana Tadic, and her associates participated in a video conference organised by the OSCE Mission to BiH and the Delegation of the European Union to BiH, dedicated to a regional project on analysis and monitoring of organised crime and corruption.

The meeting was also attended by the Head of the OSCE Mission to BiH, HE Kathleen Kavalec, Head of the EU Delegation to BiH, HE Johann Satller, Officer of the OSCE Mission to BiH in charge of the project implementation, Meagan Smith Hrle, and senior judicial officials in BiH – HJPC BiH President Halil Lagumdzija, HJPC BiH Vice President Biljana Simeunovic, BiH Court President Ranko Debevec and Minister of Justice Josip Grubesa.

Chief Prosecutor Tadic emphasised full support for the project, as well as the commitment of the Prosecutor’s Office BiH to a resolute fight against organized crime and corruption.

The Prosecutor’s Office of BiH has a number of complex cases of organised crime, which often have a regional and international dimension, and in the past two years, significant activities have been initiated in the fight against corruption, which have already resulted in ongoing court proceedings.

The meeting emphasised the importance of projects that help and support the prosecution of organized crime and corruption cases, which is in the common interest of the Western Balkan countries in the process of strengthening the rule of law on the path to European integration.
