Joint activities currently in progress, as well as operative actions, were discussed at the meeting. On that occasion, the Director Zoran Galić and the Deputy Director Zijad Srabović reported that all 2,400 border police officers are at the disposal of the Prosecutor’s Office in the fight against corruption, terrorism and organized crime.

The Prosecutor’s Office of B&H and Border Police of B&H have a good and intensive cooperation in the prosecution of criminal offenses related to the smuggling of persons and goods, unauthorized international trafficking in narcotic drugs, and other criminal offenses under the jurisdiction of these institutions.

The operative action ”Mreža”, which was focused on the detection and prosecution of offenders who are members of the Indirect Taxation Authority of B&H and Border Police of B&H, has recently been completed, which shows the commitment of these institutions in fighting against corruption offenses. The Prosecutor’s Office of B&H and the Border Police of B&H are continuing their joint work, which currently involves investigations in Bosnia and Herzegovina and at the international level.
