283 new Cases of Coronavirus Infection in Sarajevo Canton

According to the Sarajevo Canton Public Health Institute, 283 new cases of coronavirus infection in Sarajevo Canton have been confirmed in the past 24 hours.

This number is the result of an analysis conducted on 963 samples collected between November 24 and 27 this year.

Seven deaths were reported, so that the number of deaths caused by coronavirus increased to 243. Family clusters or contacts of previously ill patients include 177 infected persons, or 66.07 percent, and in self-isolation from before.

At the same time, 414 persons recovered from the infectious disease Covid – 19, which is a data that confirms the continuation of the positive trend, according to which a higher number of recovered than the number of newly infected persons was registered in our canton.

320 people were hospitalized at the clinics and in the isolation ward of the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo in Podhrastovi (263) and the General Hospital (84), of which nine patients use mechanical respiratory support during breathing.

Currently, 4,078 cases of coronavirus infection are active in Sarajevo Canton.
