419 newly infected Persons with Coronavirus in Sarajevo

After the analysis of 1,102 samples, collected in the period from November 8 to 11 this year, 419 newly infected persons with coronavirus were confirmed in the Sarajevo Canton.

269 ​​infected persons, or 64.20 percent, belong to the family clusters or contacts of the previously ill, and in self-isolation from before.

At the same time, 327 people recovered from Covid-19.

187 people were hospitalized in the isolators of the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo at Podhrastovi (93) and the General Hospital (94), four of whom use mechanical respirator support when breathing.

In the past 24 hours, six people have been discharged from this hospital treatment.

Unfortunately, there was also one fatal outcome in treatment, so the number of deaths caused by the coronavirus increased to 157 people.

Currently, 5,964 cases of coronavirus infection are active in Sarajevo Canton.

From January 30 to November 10 this year, a total of 14,104 persons infected with coronavirus were registered, of which 7,983 recovered from the infectious disease COVID-19.

In the period from October 29 to November 12 this year, based on the recommendations of epidemiologists, decisions of the inspection or the Ministry of Health of Canton Sarajevo, 5,924 self-isolations were ordered.
