With the manifestation called Family Day, yesterday was marked the beginning of the summer season at the Pannonian Lake, and at 1 pm there was almost 5000 people, who had free of charge entry to the complex this Saturday.

“Family Day presents traditional way of marking the beginning of the summer season. It is a two-day party that we realize with our partners, and the program is enriched by the team from the cultural scene of our city. When it comes to visits, we had small group of up to a thousand guests in the past, and now we record number of almost 5000 people. We wish to be good hosts to our guests from all over BiH, neighboring countries and the whole of Europe this summer,” says Porobic.

The content of the complex, which started with the work in 2003, besides three salt lakes, include stilt house Neolithic settlement, sports fields, salty waterfalls and several restaurants.

“Our plan for this summer includes a lot of fun for all of our guests. Besides the three salt lakes, we offer an outdoor fitness center, salt waterfalls as inhalation center, kindergarten, and what is the most important – taking care of the health of all our guests,” stated Porobic.

When it comes to ticket prices, they remain the same as they were last year. Regular ticket price on weekdays is 3.50 BAM, while on the weekend it will cost 4 BAM.

According to current forecasts, the citizens of BiH is expecting a long and hot summer, and if this comes true, Porobic says that more than 500,000 guests should visit “salt sea ” in Tuzla.

“Last year during the long and hot summer, which consisted of 70 days, we had a total of 450,000 guests. We hope that this year we will surpass the number of 500,000 guests, and the only condition for this is nice weather,” stated Porobic.
