Reason for the visit of the delegation of the Municipality Centar was the signing of a protocol on donation of 50,000 BAM, which were allocated from the municipal budget for the purposes of this medical facility. These funds will be spent for purchase of necessary equipment and materials.

“Municipality Centar fully supports the work of this clinical center and the executive and legislative authorities of our municipality is planning to continue with this help in order to create a good environment for the better and more quality health service for our fellow citizens. Besides this donation, the municipality Centar allocated 1,270,000 BAM during the past 8 years for needs of CCUS from its budget, and we are pleased that we are giving this kind of contribution today,” said Chairman Ajnadzic.

Director Izetbegovic thanked for the donation with which the Municipality Centar shows its satisfaction with the work of the Clinical Center, which organizes 24-hour medical service.

“The new management of CCUS launched a number of steps to accelerate health services and improve access of patients to the health service. According to our indicators, patients are satisfied with our service. Our intention is to make a reform of the health system in order to rationalize spending and hire young medical staff, thus making better use of financial resources allocated for health care,” said Izetbegovic.
