70.000 BAM for the Project of Anti-Doping Control Agency approved

UNESCO for Anti-Doping Agency tuzlanski.baFund for the elimination of doping in sports, which operates within UNESCO, approved the project of the Anti-Doping Control Agency in B&H. The project worth 70.000 BAM should ensure implementation of the International Convention of UNESCO against doping in sports and the World Anti-Doping Code in B&H.

Using these means, an additional number of doping controllers will be trained for taking blood samples from athletes. In addition, means will also be used for printing educational material for athletes and sports federations.

Representatives of the Anti-Doping Control Agency in B&H are participating at the 5th conference of UNESCO in Paris, which is being held on the occasion of marking the 10th anniversary of UNESCO International Convention against doping in sports.

The main objective of the conference is an overview of the state of conformity of the signatory countries with the commitments made, as well as the supervision of the implementation of regulations of the International Convention against doping in sports.
