The Council of Ministers of BiH allocated a total of 9,425,790 BAM for the construction of the bridge in Gradiska, on the highway Banja Luka – Gradiska – Okucani.

The Vice-President of PDP and Minister of Foreign Affairs of BiH, Igor Crnadak, stated that these funds were already planned for the universal mobile telecommunications systems in the year of 2015 in the amount of 17,602,470 BAM , of which 14,962,099.50 BAM or 85 % is focused on financing the preparation and construction of the road infrastructure.

“BiH also secured its part in financing the preparation and construction of the border crossing at the highway Banja Luka – Gradiska and two border crossings at the Corridor 5C. A total amount of 138,874 BAM was allocated for this purpose,” noted Minister Crnadak.

He also noted that the bridge in Gradiska will be very important for the development of Banja Luka, as well as the entire western part of the RS, because it will secure the direct connection with the network of EU highways in this way.

“BiH or more precisely the RS secured its part of the funds long time ago and now we are waiting for Croatia to complete the procedures for land expropriation and tender announcement. I hope that it will be completed as soon as possible,” noted Crnadak.
