Muhamed Alic is a 91-year-old participant of this year’s Peace March, and he will walk from Nezuk to Potocari. He will depart on his journey tomorrow, and has participated so far in all the Peace Marchs to honor the victims of the genocide in Srebrenica.

As Muhammad said to RTV Glas Drina, his health is still good for him and he can walk.

“I am 91 years old. Thank god, I have such legs that I can walk back to Srebrenica, but now, I do not see well, so I need a guide, my children are forbidding me to go, they think someone will hit me with a car,” says Muhamed, adding that he really needs someone to guide him during the peace march.

It is very difficult for him to speak about Srebrenica Genocide, the thought of the death of many young men, men and children, causes tears.

The story concludes by saying that he would like young people to go to Srebrenica as he did.
