Bosnian National Theater in Zenica, will officially open the 64th theater and concert season with the gala premiere ‘Majstor’ (Master) with the text of contemporary British writer Ronald Harwood and directed by Dino Mustafić.
The first performance of the play in which the main role is played by Miralem Zubčević is scheduled for Saturday 7th September at 19:30 pm, at the scene of Bosnian National Theater in Zenica. Also, in the show will play Snežana Vidović, Robert Krajinović, Lana Delić Mugdim Avdagić, Faketa Salihbegović – Avdagić, Enes Salković and Nusmir Muharemović.
A piece of ‘ Master ‘ is a template for the kind of study that has been conducted in the process of creating a performance and dealt with the philosophy of evil. This is a story that is set in the British frames and deals with the huge massacre committed against the Jews during World War II. The play talks about whether the justice that after 50 years of trying to examine and investigate, came on time.
Group members of ‘Bel Canto’ from Zenica are the authors of music and in the esthetic sense they present the refreshing on the scene. This is their first time to work in a theater project and they have not only composed the music for this show, arranged and orchestrated, but they play different roles as well. The dramaturgy is signed by Professor Ljubica Ostojić, the scenery Vedran Hrustanović and the costume Lejla Hodžić. The Choreography and stage movement is done by the professor from Tirana Gjergj Prevazi.
The first repetition of the play is announced for Thursday, the12th September and starts at 20 pm. For the ‘Majstor’ (Master) has been shown a lot of interest in the country and in the region, that was confirmed by the call of the Directorate Tuzla Theater festival days, which will be performed on Wednesday, 18 September. The first performance will be attended by the selector of the famous Colombian Theater Festival which will be held in Bogota. There are on going the negotiations for the hosting performance in Israel.
