A magnitude 5.1 earthquake hit the Azilal region in northern Morocco.
The Moroccan National Geophysical Institute stated that the degrees were recorded in the morning hours and that there were no human casualties or material damage.
The president of the Institute, Nasir Jabur, said that the magnitude is 5.1 on the Richter scale, a continuation of the seven-magnitude earthquake that hit the Al Huz region on September 8.
Almost 3,000 people died then, and more than 6,000 were injured.
