A Ceremony was held in Salzburg to mark the BiH Statehood Day

A ceremonial academy was held in Salzburg on the occasion of the Statehood Day of BiH, at which the importance of ZAVNOBiH was emphasized and messages of peace, encouragement and struggle for the European prosperous future of the homeland were sent.

The ceremony brought together a large number of guests from the public, cultural, political life of Salzburg, BiH and Bosnian diplomats in Austria.

Among the guests were Minister Counselor at the BiH Embassy in Austria Šaban Forić, Honorary Consul of BiH in Salzburg Sead Novkinić, Vice President of the Federation of BiH Associations in Austria “Consilium Bosniacum” Hurem Avdić and other guests who addressed the attendees.

The attendees were also addressed by the President of the BH Diaspora Association Salzburg Hamed Husejinović.

All speakers recalled important historical facts that testify to the Statehood Day of BiH. The importance of November 25, 1943 in Mrkonjić-Grad, at the First Session of ZAVNOBiH, where the equality of all BiHs was woven people and citizens.

In the opening speech, the BiH writer Ramzija Kanurić Oraščanin also spoke, who congratulated the attendees and said that tonight they celebrate freedom, peace, equality, and prosperity of the homeland.

The ceremonial academy on the occasion of the Statehood Day of BiH in Salzburg was organized with a diverse cultural and artistic program with the participation of the doyen of acting and film Emir Hadžihafizbegović with the play “Sve je do nas”, then maestro Muamer Kebić with sevdalinka, the author of the book “Seobe” Jasmin Merdžić, the author Sanja Balalić with a presentation of poetry, Tatjana Bjelić with a recital “Voljena zemljo moja”, eleven-year-old Ahmed Fetić with a recital “Bosnia”.

Those present in the full hall felt the scent of Bosnia through the performance of the cultural and artistic program and followed the program with silence and a filled soul, Klix.ba writes.
