A Resident of Sarajevo has 280 thousand BAM of unpaid Fines

A man with the initials J. F. (born in 1975) from Sarajevo has 280.000 BAM of unpaid fines. To make the whole situation even more bizarre, he drives an unregistered car without passing a driving test.

The Register of Fines of the Canton Sarajevo (CS) Ministry of the Internal Affairs states that this man has hundreds of unpaid warrants, but it is an incredible fact that he is still driving through the streets of the BiH capital.

As it was found out, he was caught driving an unregistered vehicle several times without having passed the driving test.

Three times during the past month, the Police Directorate of the Ministry of the Internal Affairs of the CS requested the consent of a judge of the Misdemeanor Department of the Sarajevo Municipal Court to confiscate J.F.’s car.

The judge of the Municipal Court, for reasons known only to him, refused to give consent, more precisely to issue an order to police officers to confiscate the car from this driver so he continues to commit offenses, endanger traffic, and be a real threat to Sarajevo residents.
