Famous Turkish footballer Arda Turan has once again become the center of attention in European media after Spanish media reported that he and his friends destroyed a luxury villa worth 18 million euros.
Turan and his friends rented this villa near Barcelona, and now the owner has sued him for the damages estimated at 230.000 euros.
Turan justified himself by saying that his friends took advantage of the fact that he wasn’t there and caused the mentioned damage to the villa. Among other things, the damage was caused by the Turks organizing orgies in the villa.
“They left cigarette butts everywhere, even on the furniture. When they watched football and a goal was scored, they would throw the remote control into the pool. A remote control worth a thousand euros! They threw about ten or fifteen of them,” explains the owner of the villa to Spanish media, also revealing that Turan and his friends used the villa’s curtains as sexual swings.
The owner also emphasized that he needs more than 16.500 euros to renovate all the doors, 23.000 euros to revitalize the garden, 64.300 euros for the kitchen, and 24.500 euros to prepare the electronic systems in the house.
Arda Turan played in Spain from 2011 to 2020, wearing the jerseys of Barcelona and Atletico Madrid during that period, and ended his career at Galatasaray two years ago.
He made 100 appearances for the Turkish national team, and today he coaches Eyupspor, a team competing in the second league of Turkey, Klix.ba reports.
