A humanitarian bazaar for the people of Palestine was opened in Sarajevo, organized by the Palestinian Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina in coordination with the Association of Civil War Victims “Svjetlost”.

The humanitarian base is held at Sutjeska 24, and will be open today and tomorrow until 6 p.m.

As part of the bazaar, food and coffee are sold, the proceeds of which will be handed over to the people of Gaza, who are in a humanitarian crisis as a result of the Israeli attacks.

The organizers invited people who are able to attend this noble event and to give their symbolic support to the people of Gaza.

“Citizens can buy everything that is on display, they may or may not have to pay, the only thing that matters is that they show up. It’s not a matter of money, how much will be collected, but of the gesture itself, because it means a lot to send a message to Palestine that they are not alone,” said Majed Maarouf, President of the Palestinian Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

All proceeds from the humanitarian bazaar will be handed over to the humanitarian account of the Palestinian Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Palestinian community in Bosnia and Herzegovina launched a humanitarian number through which citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina can donate three convertible marks to the people of Palestine.

The humanitarian number that citizens can call is 090 292 000 (only for BH Telekom). Help can also be paid directly to account at BBI Bank, account number: 141-311-53200039-07 (recipient: Association of Palestine in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Džinina 4, Sarajevo – marked “Help for Palestine”).

The humanitarian organization Pomozi.ba announced that up to now a million marks have been collected to help the people of Palestine.

A quarter of that amount, ie 250,000 BAM, has already been paid into the accounts of three partner organizations – Rahma Austria, Swiss Barakah Charity and the Palestinian NATUF for Environment and Community Development.

“The teams of these organizations are currently in the southern part of the Gaza Strip and are distributing aid to people who fled their homes from the center of Gaza in the form of food, water and medical supplies.

“The Rahma Austria organization will distribute ready-made meals, Swiss Barakah from the money we paid them Charity medical supplies, and NATUF in the town of Khan Yunis in the very south of the Gaza Strip, vouchers for which residents can buy food, water, hygiene and other necessities,” stated Pomozi.ba.

The action to help the residents of Palestine continues, and Pomozi.ba thanks all the good people who called the phone number 17006 and donated money in person or through bank accounts and the web platform.
