Heavy rainfall in the area of the Una-Sana Canton (USC) in the last 24 hours caused a constant rise in the water level of the local rivers, especially the Una, Sana and Klokot.

As the Civil Protection Administration of the Una-Sana Canton previously told Klix.ba, the situation regarding floods in the area of this canton is currently under control after the rain stopped falling.

The water flooded mainly agricultural land, causing material damage. Fortunately, the floods have not taken the lives of the locals so far, and one resident of the settlement in Sanski Most made sure that there were no casualties among the animals either.
Namely, swollen rivers during the past night threatened citizens and their property as well as animals.

As reported by RTV “Sana” from Sanski Most, a nice and humane gesture of resident Samir Letić was recorded in the city settlement of Zdena, who saved a dog, a cat and a hedgehog from the swollen water.

This example from Sanski Most only shows that the life of every being is equally important.
