The son of the United States (U.S.) president and director of the Trump Organization, Eric Trump, yesterday visited Qatar where he signed an agreement on the construction of luxury real estate within this organization whose founder is the President of the U.S.

Real estate companies Qatari Diar and Dar Global yesterday announced an agreement on the construction of the first Qatari real estate project under the Trump brand.

The international Trump golf course and Trump villas will be part of the “Simaisma” complex being built on the beach, 40 minutes north of the Qatari capital, Doha.

The Simaisma development project, worth 5.5 billion dollars and led by Qatari Diar, is designed as a mega entertainment-tourism district seven kilometers long, with a golf course and the Land of Legends theme park at its center.

The company Dar Global, the international branch of the Saudi real estate development company Dar Al Arkan, has already presented several projects in partnership with the Trump Organization.

This includes plans for a Trump Tower in Dubai launched on Tuesday and two more in Jeddah and Riyadh in Saudi Arabia, as well as real estate projects in Oman.

At a crucial moment for Doha, President Trump will in the coming weeks visit Qatar on his first major trip abroad, which will also include visits to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Trump has hinted that he will sign major investment agreements in all three countries.
