At Marijin Dvor in Sarajevo, on Maršala Tita Street, a peaceful gathering of citizens will be held tonight, beginning at 6 p.m., in connection with the traffic accident that occurred the night before last, in which the young doctor Azra Spahić was killed.

The gathering is organized by a group of psychology students, which seven years ago created the Facebook page “You allow this – for Edita and Selma” after the traffic accident in which the students Selma Agić and Edita Malkoč were killed.

They point out that the streets of Sarajevo are not safe and that the existing legal regulations are not adequate.

“The institutions must take responsibility and offer solutions. After the irretrievably stolen lives, it is already too late for this, but that does not mean that we will accept the current situation. With this gathering, we first want to send a message to the family of Azra Spahić that we stand in solidarity with them in their loss and loss of all citizens of this city”, it was said on the Facebook page “You allow this – for Edita and Selma”.

Citizens are invited to lay flowers and keep their thoughts with the family and friends of the injured young doctor and the injured pedestrians.
