A red Interpol Warrant was issued for Aleksandar Macan

The Internati
onal Police Agency Interpol yesterday issued a red warrant for Aleksandar Macan, a suspect for the murder ofSarajevo police officers Adis Sehovic and Davor Vujinovic in 2018.

The Cantonal Court in Sarajevo ordered the detention of Aleksandar Macan at the suggestion of the Canton Sarajevo (CS) Prosecutor’s Office, which ordered the issuance of a warrant.

To recall, State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA), with the assistance of the CS Ministry of the Internal Affairs, the Republika Srpska (RS) Ministry of the Internal Affairs, and the Intelligence and Security Agency (OSA), carried out an operation on November 4th to arrest the murderers of two Sarajevo police officers which occurred in 2018. Searches were conducted on the territory of RS, and one office of the Pale Police Administration was also searched. Several people were questioned.

Two Sarajevo police officers, Adis Sehovic and Davor Vujinovicwere killed on October 26th, 2018, in the Sarajevo settlement of Alipasino Polje. Sehovic died immediately, while Vujinovic was seriously wounded, as a result of which he later passed away. The shooting happened after the two policemen found a group of criminals stealing a car in Geteova Street.
