After the money was collected in July for the construction of a well in Africa in honor of the tragically killed doctors Azra Spahic and Alma Suljic, the work on its construction has now been completed.

Fatih Ademovic, a colleague of Azra Spahic from the faculty, announced in July that 6,788 BAM and 574 euros were collected in the fund-raising campaign for the construction of well in Africa.

The organizers of the action said then that a well of 50-80 meters depth will be built, which will provide access to water for the entire village with more than 200 inhabitants. In addition, they will be able to build two smaller wells in Africa (Nigeria), which will provide access to water for at least 100 more people. The remaining amount will be directed to Pomozi.ba in accordance with the agreement with the families.

Ademovic has now announced on his Facebook that the construction of the well has been completed, and at the same time he shared photos and videos of the construction of the well itself.

Azra Spahic was killed in a terrible traffic accident in Sarajevo on May 26th shortly before midnight. Armin Berberovic hit her with a car. A few weeks later, the tragic news arrived that Azra’s colleague Alma Suljic, who was seriously injured in an accident, had passed away, Klix.ba reports.
