A Parisian woman who currently lives in Sarajevo on her TikTok profile, under the name peanutbutterovic, often shares her experiences in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
She revealed what delighted her and why tourists should visit Sarajevo.
The view from Trebević
“I took a break to light a cigar and this is my view. I came to work in a cafe located 20 minutes from the center of Sarajevo and this is the view”, she wrote and showed a stunning scene of a snow-covered forest, while the city’s panorama can be seen in the background.
She revealed how much time it takes her to get from the center of Sarajevo to Trebević. She left the apartment at 12:41. She rode the tram around Sarajevo, and then she met up with a friend. They went by cable car and arrived at the mountain at 1:20 p.m., reports Index.
Trebević is a mountain located southeast of Sarajevo, it is 1,627 meters high and connects to the Jahorina mountain.
Things he finds strange
In her videos, Peanutbutterovic also listed things she considers strange.
First of all, she singled out the “let’s go for coffee mentality”. She doesn’t understand that when her friends invite her for coffee, they mean they’re going right away, not in a few days.
“My friends send me messages and ask me if I’m free to go for coffee right away. Not tomorrow, not at the weekend, not next week, God forbid the week after, but right now. I like it now, but I don’t know how it works when people have jobs. I don’t have it right now,” she said.
She does not understand the existence of the word “square”, and she also commented on one of the more popular clubs in Sarajevo, where she also goes out.
“Everyone I meet tells me to go there, but everyone I know also says they hate that club. The whole city simultaneously loves and hates the most famous club in town. What’s going on?” she said.
She is confused by the Sampita
The next thing is the “existence of trucks in Miljacka”, which happens during the cleaning of the river bed.
“I’m talking about small trucks literally in the river, you’ve seen them, I’ve seen them, we’ve all seen them – and we all have to accept that this is really strange,” she said. She also commented on Miljacka itself and pointed out that half of the year it reminds her of a bar.
Last on the list is Sampita. “In general, when we talk about cakes, we mean a little whipped cream on top of the cake, not a cake with a lot of whipped cream,” she said, N1 writes.
