It is not acceptable to have a Minority Government!

presidencyThe Presidency of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) called on the coalition partners, especially the Democratic Front (DF), to re-engage in the process of implementation of the election results, so as to form the government at all levels within legal deadline.

SDA Deputy President Bakir Izetbegović said the previous one after the session of the party’s presidency.

He stressed that it is not acceptable to this party to have a minority government, but a stable government with participation of all coalition partners.

He pointed out that SDA has no intention to enter into a coalition with other parties, because it wants to complete the job of government formation with DF.

“We invite DF to return to the negotiating table, and not to give up too easily. It is important to SDA to have a coherent government,” he said.

Izetbegovic also condemned the declaration of the Croat People’s Assembly (HNS) as unnecessary.

“We believe that the declaration of the Croat People’s Assembly was unnecessary, and at the moment it has introduced an unnecessary discomfort.

It is unrealistic to hold talks on constitutional changes at this moment, but we have to focus on reforms in the business and economy sector,” said Izetbegović.

He also stressed that the goal of future constitutional reform can only be additional integration, not disintegration of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Izetbegović underlined that SDA has obtained information that there have been attempts in some areas to forge census results, which is particularly related to the returnee population.

“That would be the completion of ethnic cleansing. SDA will not recognize such a census,” he said.
