Adnan Marić transferring to the first Team of the English Premier League

12443353_1121854614532160_1835164322_oThe 19-year-old Adnan Marić from Goražde is signing a contract with the first team of the English premier league club Swansea City.

The talented Adnan first played for the second team of Swansea (U-21) in 2014, but he is already signing a contract with the best team of this club.

The Marić family originates from Goražde. After the aggression on BiH, they went to Gothenburg, Sweden, in a search for a better life. Adnan was born in Sweden in 1997, but his parents returned to Goražde soon after that.

“Ado made his first steps on Drina”, said Adnan’s father, Nermin Marić.

Three years later, the Marić family moved to Gothenburg again. Adnan started training football at the age of 6, already demonstrating a great talent. As a child he went to trainings in HSV, Utrecht, Fulham… Already at the age of 15, Adnan signed his first professional contract with the Swedish club GAIS.
