turizam bih unaThe Director of the National Una Park Amarildo Mulić and the owner of the company UNA RS Kiro Rafting Mirsad Ćoralić signed an agreement on cooperation for the upcoming tourist and rafting season yesterday in the Chamber of Commerce of the Una-Sana Canton.

After 26 months since the founding of the national park, this is the first agreement with a private agency that brings guests to Bihać on the Una.

Their cooperation started earlier, within the range of services of rafiting agency Kiro that contributed to the development of tourism not only in Bihać but in the entire canton and throughout BiH.

“This agreement does not involve financial obligations but rather planning and management, joint programs of tourist visits and joint applications for project funds. The national park Una is protected in terms of nature conservation, but we should not protect it from private initiatives and creating a business from which all could have use. Rafting, kayaking on wild waters, adventure tourism is a trend in the world and various opportunities are open to us. We hope that people who gravitate towards the park could live off of their work, to work off of the export of tourism and that together we would achieve the best possible offers that would be directed towards the region’’, said Mulić.

National Park Una opened the possibility for cooperation with other agencies, and Kiro rafting already has 14 years of successful operation.

“We are pleased to recognize the importance of the development of tourism and we are leading this company for years now and are able to compete with world agencies’’, said Ćoralić.
